OUR OTHER CRITTERS
Arrow, my ArabX, is my pride and joy. I retrained him when he was 7yo. Now he is all you could ever ask for in a trail horse! Arrow is now 22yo and still full of life and loves to GO!!!
Snoozer, pictured at about 2yo in the first picture.. He is Uncle Snoozie to all the puppies and loves being their jungle-gym! ***Snoozer just celebrated his 12th birthday!!! Congrats Snoozie!!
Shai, Mainecoon X, 12yo. He doesn't know he's a cat, he thinks dog x human! He sits, sits up and stands when asked. He also says 'mama', especially when he's hungry... which is always!! It's one of those 'have to hear it to believe it' things:-)
Intregue is an Arab/QH filly. We have owned her since birth and she is a real sweet girl. She has just started going on trail rides with the other horses and loves to see all the new things. She will be completely grey (white) when she's about 6-7yo, until then she continue to change in colors. Updated pix will show how she changes over the summer. Stay tuned.....!! In the first picture she was almost 2yo... the last 2 pictures she is 3yo. There will be more changes in her appearance withing the year!!!
Tony is Jayme's (my husband) horse. We acquried him about 2 weeks before our wedding. We only had Arrow at the time and our honeymoon was to go camping/horse riding for a week. We couldn't both fit on Arrow and it was a good excuse to get another critter:-) Tony is an excellent horse who is very easy to get along with and will do his best in all things asked of him. Tony is an asset to our family.
Nugget competed in her first ever show. She took 3 Grp 1's and a Grp 2 from the puppy class!!!! This makes her a National and Int'l JHA Champion! Way to go Nugget!!!
This is Nugget, she is Jayme's birthday present and he is throughly enjoying her. She is a black/white purebred German Shorthaired Pointer. Thank you to
No-Mars Kennels for this pretty little girl.
Nugget at almost 17mo. This is with about 5lbs in her pack, a 3mile bike run, + half hour of chasin' the ball!!! Still up and ready for whatever comes next!!! TONS of energy and has a great birdy nose. She helped Jayme get his first Rooster this past year!!!
Nugget showing her stuff to her breeder during their pre-test for the NAVHDA test. She did pass and has gone on to even improve more while hunting with Jayme. Nugget will also be going to her first show this Feb. 07, We are expecting great things from her throught the Int'l shows!!
Shai's new little friend, Be-bop. She is about 9wks and is the best kitty... besides Shai... that we could have!! She 'followed' me home from Cali. and has adjusted VERy well to our home, kids and lots of dogs! She has also been sharing the whelping bos with Tango's litter!!
Not quite sure where to put these next pix, but thought they would look good here. this is of some of the places I walk with the dogs. They love the openess and freedom and get throroughly tired out!!
This is what we call a 'Doggie oreo'!! Henry, Nugget and Gideon with Mt. SI in the background.
The dogs not only LOVE the snow, they love being able to run without leashes, because of the secluded area. Some are definately faster than others, and some like to stroll, either pace, it's a great place to be!
